Rae goes blahdeeblahdeeblah about herself over on luvinthemommyhood
Almost everything you ever wanted to know about me can be found in an interview on luvinthemommyhood. Shannon puts together some really neat interviews of mommybloggers called “moms in the mommyhood” that the voyeur in me finds oh-so-fascinating and this month she’s got one of me.
Read about
- how I both love and hate blogging (oops, did I really say that…ack)
- my strong opinions about menswear (bring back the puffy shirt!)
- what I don’t do around the house
and see
- what is probably the cutest picture ever of my kids
- a picture of MR RAE
- a slightly embarrassing shot of my sewing room (honestly it’s usually even more messy than that)
By the way, Shannon put all that together while at the same time taking deep cleansing breaths through her Braxton-Hicks contractions. Now that’s what I call dedication. Me on the other hand…well let’s just say that weeks before Clementine arrived last summer I was “on maternity leave” (code for: too lazy/large to blog). She’s going to have that baby any day now, very exciting! Thanks so much Shannon!!!

LOVE the tip on gathering. Going to try that one tonight! Great interview, Rae

It will be my 'treat' after I finish cleaning … bleh!
I posted a little pick of my sewing room on my Knitty Bitties blog too … of course it's neat and tidy just like me
Awww, thanks Rae! You were worth the breathing…you know I luv ya
Thanks for being honest and open and for a fun interview! Big hugs.
What a great interview! I have definitely used your gathering method since reading about it on SYTYC, and I LOVE how you've delegated certain "not so important tasks" in order to focus time on the kiddos!
Awwwww . . . that is just awesome! Congrats on the interview. It was a very good read.
what fun to read…
I missed where you blogged about the tank top she pictured? very cute top.:)
Great interview! And I love that I'm not the only one who delegates! (Best thing we ever did for our marriage was get a weekly cleaning person–best thing.)
What a great read! Nice to find out a bit more about you, and they are great photos. Great that Mr Rae reads your blog – I've hassled Mr CookCleanCraft for not taking an interest!
what a lovely interview – i love reading your blog, because it feels real.
And I just have to ask – in the top collage in the interview, the bottom right shirt… do you have a pattern for that? I'm just in love with it.
-Melissa
Thanks for sharing – loved the interview!
Rae- Loved the interview! So fun to see cute pics of "behind the scenes". Frantically sewing for STW! Hoping to be done in time! -Shannon (the one who traded you the diaper covers- way back when!)
loved the interview! I think I love you even more after reading it! I was wondering where you got the pattern for that top in the bottom right hand corner of the box with the 4 maternity spring tops… I LOOVE it.

if its your own pattern can you please sell it??!!!
Nice interview Rae! LiEr over at ikatbag.com just posted a smocking tutorial a couple of weeks ago. You should check it out!
ooooooo. I can't WAIT!
I love reading interviews where I feel like I have SO much in common with the interviewee, and then I realize that we're totally best friends, but that's a little stalkerish so I have to pedal back a bit and not say it out loud.
Did I just say that out loud??
Fun to learn so much about your methods!
