We’ve just arrived in Seattle for spring break, which is all green and in bloom so it feels like we’ve gone from winter to spring in just a matter of hours. Clementine packed these for the trip, though I doubt she plans to pair it with something as unimaginative as the white Flashback Tee shown here.

I put a little piece of interfacing on the inside of the pant leg at the top of the moon pocket, to make sure that those points are nice and strong (we included this hint in the pattern too of course).

Guess what she’s singing here. No really, you get one guess.

Have a Happy Easter, everyone!!!

  1. I was thinking “let it go” also hahaha

This fabric is cute! I just finished some very easter moon pants but i cropped it to bubble shorts and followed all instructions. I just increased the length of the band. They turned out cute. Will be making the pants next week.

  2. Silly Grandma here…my first thought was “You are my Sunshine,” but then I looked at her “O”pen mouth and said…Let it Go….just like these other guesses! Happy EASTER to the “Rae’s!” From Michigan..where believe it or not it’s 54 and sunny!

  3. Please please tell me the name/maker of the fabric. I am in love with it and think I need a Washi in that print. Thank you!

  4. Love it!! I think this would be a great light layer that offers some sun protection too for my fair-skinned kids. I have a gorgeous Liberty of London Hello Kitty lawn that I have been saving. Is lawn too lightweight for these pants? I guess I wonder how they will hold up.

    • Meredith — Lawn would be perfect for these pants, light and flowy as it is. Hopefully it’ll last a full season on a growing kid? 🙂

  5. Isn’t every little girl singing “Let it Go”??? She’s very cute and so are her pants!!!
