Take a look at Julie's dreamy Sapphire dress

Today I’m excited to re-introduce Julie of Home Sweet Homestead, who I’ve followed online for many years as she raises goats and chickens and kiddos in a little village in Maine and her stories give a glimpse into the ups and downs of homesteading life. Julie also works at Fiddlehead Artisan Supply, a brick and mortar shop in downtown Belfast, Maine, and I had the privilege of meeting Julie in person when I was in Maine for Sewing Camp. Julie made this dreamy version of Sapphire to help us preview the pattern; she’s styling it here with a beautiful indigo Lichen Duster (pattern by my dear friend Meg of Sew Liberated).

And I love the way Julie left the bottom buttons open to show off those gorgeous boots…
