Guess what this is going to turn into

Array

Hint: Not a quilt.

I wasn’t kidding when I said I was stashbusting my Good Folks.* After this I’m down to just 4 or 5 yards. This is going to be really awesome. I can’t wait!

*thanks for all the skirt love , btw. You’ve bolstered my confidence. Maybe I WILL wear that whole outfit out of the house after all…maybe to our next SE MI Crafter’s Meetup, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday August 17???

  1. I’m thinking curtains or a shower curtain. Quilt seems to obvious. It will be beautiful whatever it is.

  2. tablecloth? Ackk, I might miss the meeting, as I’m back in town Aug 14 and then leave the morning of the 17th. But I’ll be back on Aug 30 and should be able to make fall meetings, yay!

  3. This is one of the most beautiful quilts I have seen in a long time. The pattern is simple and shows off the beautiful fabrics. I love the yellow border that frames it all so softly. Looking at that makes me happy. Nice job!

  4. LOVE it! I’m guessing curtains! I made some stacked coin curtains with my scraps for my daughter’s room a couple years back and still love them!

  5. Love the Good Folks! Hmm, I’m not sure either. Tablecloth? Would love to see you (and your skirt πŸ™‚ soon–the 17th works great for me!

  6. a folding screen! Mr Rae is working on the wooden structure just now!
-is this a giveaway for whoever guesses it right ?
    ;-P
    love it!

  7. Well I have a couple of off the wall guesses, I don’t know what they are called but one of those skirts you make where you can buy the material already gathered at the top and pretty much all you do is sew up one seam, or a Hawaiian Moo Moo, I guess that’s how it’s spelled, or cut up into hobo bags where you see several different pieces of cloth had been sewn together to make it, it could be a wrap around skirt for when you have your bathing suit on, or it could be cushion covers or pillow cases. That’s all my guesses for now.

  8. A blanket? It looks fantastic! I have lots of good folk scraps left and a few fat quarters…..you’ve got me thinking….

  9. DO wear that cute outfit to the Crafter’s Meetup, it’s perfect!

On a totally different note: Ever since you redesigned your site (great job by the way!) your posts dont’t show up in bloglovin any more. I already “unfollowed”, did a new search for madybyrae and then “followed” again, the adress is right, so I don’t understand what’s going on, it still says “we received a 404 from this page”.
Any ideas what is wrong there? I don’t even use bloglovin to actually read the posts, I always click over to the actual blog but it helps so much to have all new posts listed for you and it makes me sad that one of my favourites is missing! πŸ™

    • Hi Liz! Try following the second search result for “made by rae” on bloglovin’…it seems like that one is correct. LMK if that works! πŸ™‚

      • Yay, that did the trick! I still don’t get it, the first and second second search result are exactly the same adress! But it’s working now, that’s what counts.
        Thank you Rae!

  10. I’m guessing that those fabrics are gong to make pure awesomeness. πŸ™‚ I think everything made with Good Folks turns out to be awesomeness! πŸ™‚

  11. I am guessing a shower curtain or possibly a window curtain. Either would be great. Heck, so many things would be great . It’s freakin’ gorgeous!
