Elliot: What happened to her?
Clementine: Owie?
Me: I don’t think so. I think she’s just resting.
Clementine: Boo-boo?
Me: No, I think she’s just fine.
Elliot: She’s going to fall in the water and drown and get eaten by sharks.

HAH!!! Classic!!!
Hilarious!!!!
Well, there ya have it! LOL Silly pose, anyway, right kids?
(From my iPad!!!)
She certainly looks like she could stand to eat a pie or two! I love the way kids see things so clearly!
Too funny!! And your pics from the weekend are fabulous!! I want to see what you made……
xo
almost done with my show off bag(s)
Your directions are quite well written! Well done!
Love!
HAHAHAHA!
LOL!
I think the sharks would throw her back; too boney.
Heeeeee! Yes, they would.
Awesome.
Toddlers say the funniest things-no filter at all. Love it!
auntie is so proud…love them.
Ha- so truthful and honest. Magazines should seriously have some kids around on photo shoots in order to bring in a touch of reality.
LOL, so cute!
DH and I enjoy coming up with similar types of captions for J Crew catalogs. They are so absurd!
Hahaha! That’s just perfect. I never knew getting eaten by sharks was a harzard for models. Thanks for the laugh on this busy Friday.
Hilarious! Yesterday my 2yo said he could hear his heart beating, and asked me to turn it off.
hah, love it. My Mom and I used to go through the Pottery Barn and other catalogs commenting on the implausible set ups and precarious flower arrangements.
Like I always say, adults just try too hard sometimes to be artistic. Just ask any child under ten.
I love it! You should ask Max what SJ thought the gardener was doing when he was late. It involved a lot of sound effects….booms… haha. Can’t wait for Coco to grow up
Ha!! too funny…. he’s probably right though.
That’s hilarious!
I haven’t been by in a while – apparently, my link to your blog in my blogroll was broken. Good thing I checked! lol. I’ve been missing good stuff!
Ha, I’ve been thinking that their catalogues have been kinda strange looking lately. Love it!
Haha, I love the dramatics! *cue Jaws theme music*
Thanks for the laugh!
Oh WOW! This had me in stitches! So amazing
Oh my gosh – so funny! “Boo-boo?” Your kids are the cutest (right after mine
).
Bahahaha! Or maybe eaten by that huge crocodile (alligator?) from “Lake Placid.” You know, where Betty White was feeding cows to it?
That was too funny!!!
From the mouths of babes. I love it! Have a great weekend.
That’s why I don’t swim in large bodies of water.
My 22 month old, Jane said “Lady SAD!:”
this is a hilarious post. I, too, wondered about this cover when I got it. All I could think of was “that doesn’t look comfortable, bet she has a bony back, too” and… “how nice it must be to sit down!” (I chase a 14 month old a lot right now).
Gotta love their catalog, though, right? Inspiration galore!
Love it!
Haha, I love it!! Thanks for keeping me laughing while im at work! I was wondering why an Anthropologie cover was on your email! Priceless! And that Elliot! Typical little boy!
Ha ha ha!!! That was FULLY AWESOME
Ha! There’s a good reminder of how differently small ones think…and how crazy the world we live in is to them sometimes. Funny.
Love love love that! She is shading her eyes as if she had bumped her head, and lying on the ground like that is pretty weird.
So cute for the kiddos to call it like it is.
This post concept could be an entire blog.
Love those little minds at work.
This is hilarious!! Thanks for sharing, Rae. Nothing like a toddler’s perspective to point out the beauties and absurdities in life.
OMG! Too funny. I love what kids come up with.
